This is a great defensive exercise that helps you become more efficient with your movement back from the table when playing a chop and in to the table to play a forehand push. It is very common for defenders to come up against attacking style players that constantly push you in and out looking for a break down in consistency. If you want to be a top defender you must master this simple yet important movement.
Exercise variations may include:
2.Attacker may attack cross court to the forehand of the defender after a few rounds then go into free play
3.If the attackers touch drifts long, the defender may re-loop and go into free play
